He has a Journalism Degree from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from The Meinders School of Business at Oklahoma City University. He also holds current Insurance Licenses in both Oklahoma and Texas and is currently a Financial Representative with Modern Woodmen of America, and is completing his Certification as a Fraternal Insurance Counselor and Securities Licensing.
Max has been married to the love of his life, Diane, for 28 years and they have four daughters and a son-in law. He and his family make their home in Edmond and are members of Henderson Hills Baptist Church, since 1996. During that time, he taught an adult Bible Class four years. He also has served on the Character Council of Central Oklahoma four years and is currently a Committee Chair. He finds great satisfaction helping people make wise decisions about their financial plans and he loves to pursue intense studies of the Bible and when possible, work on his golf swing.

Gerald received his BS in Business from Virginia Commonwealth University and his Master of Commerce from the University of Richmond.
He owned and operated Coury Distribution Center, a wholesale beverage corporation in central Virginia for 18 years. He also was a part-time instructor at Richard Bland College, a branch of William and Mary.
He joined the Character Training Institute in 1996 and became a director in the business division. Later he became the director of the International Association of Character Cities.

After retiring as Corporate Vice President for Commercial Federal Bank in 2003, she developed her own successful company, Dobson Mortgage Corporation, which specialized in financing commercial real estate. In the fall of 2007, Linda felt a need to get back to helping others to become all they can be and sold Dobson Mortgage Corporation to a great group of local people, took a reduction in salary to become a coach and mentor for NAI Sullivan commercial real estate company.
Linda and her husband, Lindell, live in rural Piedmont, are members of the First Baptist Church in Piedmont, and are the parents of four grown children and 6 grandchildren.
Hobbies include big game hunting, fishing, gardening, reading, and grandchildren.

Presentor: Captain Renda Brumbeloe: "Why The Airlines Work, Sometimes"

Captain Renda Brumbeloe was born in Alabama and raised in a Nazarene parsonage, the fourth of seven children. He holds Bachelor and Master Degrees in music (piano performance) from the University of Alabama.
In a multi-vocational career, Renda taught and adjudicated high school choral music in Alabama and Florida and for 22 years, has served churches as ministry of music in Alabama, Florida and Bethany, Oklahoma until 1987.
He began an aviation career while in college, earning flight instructor and commercial airline pilot ratings, and instructed at FlightSafety International. In 1987 he was hired by United Airlines and is now a retired Captain from United Airlines with over 20 thousand flight hours.
Renda has served as an adjunct music professor at Southern Nazarene University, church board member and Sunday school teacher. He is an avid reader and student of the Bible and has written a Men’s Bible Study curriculum entitled “Scripting Our Lives”.
Renda has written articles for several aviation industry and religious magazines and authors a religious blog at www.rendabrumbeloe.org. He is currently preparing a book about spiritual perspectives of an airline pilot.

Internationally acclaimed American Expressionist Bert Seabourn is a painter, printmaker sculptor, author and teacher, who experiments intensively with creative vitality.
Born in 1931, Seabourn sold his first piece of art, (a cartoon) to King Features Syndicate in 1946, while in the eight grade at Purcell, Oklahoma. After graduating from high school, he joined the Navy and served several years as a Navy Journalist-artist. After being discharged in 1955, Seabourn and his family returned to Oklahoma, where he worked for Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company for 23 years as artist and art director. During the mid fifties and early sixties, Seabourn was enrolled in evening classes at Oklahoma City University where he attended for six years majoring in art. In 1978, he resigned from OG&E to pursue a full-time career as a painter of fine art.
Seabourn is the recipient of several notable honors. In 1976, he was designated a Master Artist by the Five Civilized Tribes in Muskogee, OK, and in 1981, Oklahoma Governor George Nigh awarded him the Governor’s Art Award. In 1986 his sculpture, “Wind Walker”, a 23-foot bronze was unveiled at Southern Bell Telephone Company’s State Headquarter in Oklahoma City, (the sculpture is now located at the Attorney General Office Building , Oklahoma State Capitol Complex) and in 1997, Oklahoma City University honored him with the University’s highest honor, the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Humane Letters. In 2004, Seabourn received Oklahoma’s Living Treasure Award.

Eunyoung Kim is the C.E.O. of Synapse International, L.L.C. and Michael Soderstrand is the Director of Product Development for Synapse International, L.L.C. The company was started in 2002 primarily to sell the new environmentally-friendly ground-source heat pump technology in Korea. Synapse International is the exclusive representative for Florida Heat Pump in Korea and does about $750,000 business in Korea each year.
Recently Synapse International has deliberately expanded its market. In our commercial lines we have added rooftop mounted wind turbines and solar panels and a complete line of heat-pump related products. We recently added an online store with retail products. It is these new retail products that will be the main focus of our presentation. These products include:
1. Home composter units (automatic in-kitchen units and solar-powered outdoor units),
2. Energy monitoring equipment (simple wireless monitoring that can assist you in saving electrical energy at home),
3. LED lighting products including highly-efficient LED study lamps.

Another great passion of hers is serving the homeless and working poor through the work of Trinity Legal Clinics. Her full time work is with Oklahoma Family Policy Council- the state affiliate of James C. Dobson's Focus on the Family. Additionally, Trish is acting as an associate faculty member at Oklahoma Christian School where she had been teaching for the last eight years. As a gifted multi-tasker, Trish also maintains her home, serving the needs of her husband and their three teenage daughters. The other thing on her plate is speaking to women across the state, encouraging them to stay near to God. Take a break, come be encouraged. Trish is an energetic speaker with a wealth of ideas to help you become all that you need to be.
